Why is it so important to have a neurologically-based chiropractor check your kiddos?

The state of health in the United States is extremely poor considering the resources that we have available. Children are suffering from more disorders than ever before. We believe that every child has the God-given right to grow up healthy without the use of drugs or surgery. This process starts from birth, and this is the only way to make a true change in society. Healthy children will grow into healthy adults and raise healthy families. Statistics show that sick children will do the opposite.
A seven-year study done by Blue Cross Blue Shield showed that individuals who were under chiropractic care had 60% less hospital admissions, 62% less outpatient surgeries, and 85% less pharmaceutical cost. We believe that your baby was born to be healthy. Chiropractic can help your child thrive at their optimal potential.
In another study published in the Journal of Science and Healing, 5,438 pediatric chiropractic office visits were assessed. It indicated a high rate of improvement on the presenting complaints of the children across the board. What is also interesting is that there were also positive changes in the children who did not have any complaints or symptoms at all!

What about with infants?

Adjustments on infants are very gentle, they resemble checking the ripeness of a tomato or avocado. When these adjustments occur, the stress is taken off the newborn’s nervous system, and many positive changes may occur. This is explained by the fact that the digestive system and immune system, among others, are controlled by the parasympathetic nervous system, which is the ‘resting’ nervous system state. When there is stress on the nervous system of the baby, which often happens during the birthing process, he/she is unable to attain proper balance of that system. Chiropractor can help remove that stress and allow your baby to thrive. The amount of pressure used to adjust on an infant is equal to the amount of pressure used to check the ripeness of a tomato. The most common reaction afterwards from parents is,” That’s it!?”

  2. To strengthen the immune system, thereby reducing the number of colds, ear infections, and general illnesses.
  3. To improve spinal posture and prevent scoliosis and other compensations.
  4. To assist with behavioral disorders and promote greater emotional well-being.
  5. To improve their child’s ability to learn, concentrate, and encourage good neutral plasticity ( brain and nerve development).
  6. To help alleviate digestive issues, constipation, and bed wetting.
  7. To help with asthma, breathing difficulties, and allergies
  8. To assist with sleep issues.
  9. To help resolve breastfeeding issues, colic, and irritable bowel syndrome.
  10. To help resolve any physical trauma from the birthing process.
